My design, the Roxanne Tunisian Loop Scarf, is in the new issue of  Knitcircus that went live today.

Roxanne is a tunisian scarf that’s worked lengthwise. At the end, you sew the ends together to form a loop you can wear around your neck, or double over when it’s time to face the chilly outdoors.

The yarn I used was Kollage Glisten. It was really nice to work with, and I love that it has just a hint of sparkle.

Me with the awesome Erica from Kollage Yarns.

To celebrate the new design, we’re giving one lucky winner the entire Knitcircus Issue #16 Winter 2011-2012 Pattern Collection. To enter, just leave a comment here by midnight EST on Sunday, November 20th saying why you want to win. I’ll randomly pick a winner on Monday.

PS: I’m thrilled that my friend Michele Moskaluk has a pattern in the same issue. She and I have been going to the same weekly crochet/knit group for years. Her double-knit cardi in this issue is adorable!

  1. Congrats! Love the cowl design, looks really pretty and cozy. 😀

I’d like to win because not only do I love new patterns and things to knit, I just plain like winning things. ;P

And I want to knit your cowl and Michele’s cardi and prance around in them. <3

  2. Umm since I can’t edit my comment, I meant to say CROCHET your cowl and KNIT Michele’s cardi…

Also, that would be learning a new skill! Because while I own a tunisian crochet hook, I have yet to try and use it…

  4. Ooooh… Aaaah… I’ve done a couple of tunisian projects. *ahem* A couple of short row dishcloths. And a Packer hat. No really You need to SEE this Packer hat to appreciate it. My poor papa looks like it is about to overtake him. But he does love his Packers. THAT tunisian project

Now you can see why this pretty pretty sparkly project would be just the thing for me to get back into tunisian. 🙂 I hope I win.

  5. Knitcircus (Winter collection) has such fabulous patterns! I’d love to win this so I can knit them all up!! 🙂

Thanks for the opportunity to enter!

  6. I love doing tunisian (actually any crocheting) but haven’t found much in the way of wearables I like. This I love! Got my fingers crossed. Thank you!
